Drinking Around the Disney World

Disney World Drinks

There are probably no less than a trillion ways to enjoy drinking around Disney World. To be completely fair there is also no truly wrong way to do it. But with the endless options for alcoholic consumption at the most “magical place on earth” it would be impossible to try them all. So, leaving out the basic beer stands, here’s our favorite at each stop… in park order!

Magic Kingdom

First up, Magic Kingdom. Now some of you are probably thinking “Dude, everyone knows there is no alcohol allowed in any Disney park with a castle!”

No… no one was thinking that? Ok, just me. Thats fine.

This was a true statement up until a handful of years ago when they started to allow the sale of alcohol on a very restricted basis. These beautiful beverages are only available at the sit down restaurants in the park and depending on whether or not you made reservations well in advance, this may still seem like a dry park to you. Sorry about your luck. Welcome to the “Lack of Planning Team”!

But if you are a planner or happen to be in the park on a slow day, here are my choices for the frosty bit of relaxation.

Animal Kingdom

Next up we head into the wilderness of Animal Kingdom. Here it becomes much easier to track down the drinks despite being one of the hardest parks to navigate overall. This park is home to one of the best queue lines in all of Disney property with Everest and features the added bonus of a drink stand right outside the beginning of this line. Before you start your trek into the mountains of Nepal, let’s make sure the yeti isn’t the only thing frosty you will be experiencing. Here are my drink choices for Animal Kingdom.

From the Citizen of Hollywood wondering around the park stuck in the 1920’s, to the member of the Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge and our favorite Toy Story characters in between it’s easy for this park to feel like three completely different places all in one. EPCOT

And now the holy grail of Walt Disney World drink locations, EPCOT. In a park designed to grow your understanding of the world and broaden your culinary palate, they have hit the nail on the head. This park is made up of countries from around the world with food and drinks specially designed to introduce you to some of the local flavors. This a place where drinks are not only easy to find but also encouraged. No matter the time of year you go there will inevitably be a group of people “Drinking Around the World”. These groups are usually easily spotted as the the people who look like they are having the most fun. Also, at least one of them will probably be wearing a viking helmet they picked up in Norway when they got off the Frozen Ever After ride.

So with all of these drink options how are you supposed to know where to spend your healthy liver function first? We have you covered!
